Once upon a time …
… there was a Viennese confectionery master – his name was Walter Heindl. Day and night he created, drew and composed, side by side with his wife Maria and created – from the finest ingredients – the most exquisite pralines and delicious confectionery creations Vienna has ever seen.
And all the Viennese came – to Heindl, in his small confectionery business to see, to taste and to enjoy! Heindl’s delicious `Nussbeugeln’, the creamy ‘Rehrucken’, Heindl’s juicy rum-plums and liqueur pralines and the dried fruits – like apricots, oranges and dates – dipped in finest chocolate.
The two sons, Walter and Andreas Heindl dedicated a very special gift of Viennese confectionary to ‘their’ Viennese. One, so delicious and tender, as the world had never seen before! And so they gave the Viennese people the delicate ‘Sissi Taler’ – fruity apricot marzipan, covered with fine soft truffle cream in finest milk chocolate! The Viennese folk were smitten, and soon Heindl’s Sissi Taler was on everyone’s lips!
But that was not all: the brothers gave Vienna other exclusive creations. The fine ‘Sissi Veilchen’, the exquisite ‘Johann Strauss Taler’ and the mouth-watering ‘Wiener Riesenradl’ – the cheering of the Viennese people found no end! And soon not only the Viennese people but all confectionery lovers around the world were excited about the delicious pralines from Vienna!
Now the 3rd generation is part in the family business: The daughters of Walter Heindl, Barbara and Caroline, as well as Andreas Heindl’s daughter Nicole, are completely dedicated to the family tradition and they are ready to add another bright chapter of the successful and absolutely sweet Heindl story.
