Aptly named because the grapes start to ripen on St. Lawrence’s Day, on the 10th. August. Improves each year. On the nose, a strong expression of cherry and violet rim from influences of the oak. On the palate dry medium/full body, soft in tannins. Dark ruby with violet highlights.
Matured in large Oak barrels 2,000 – 2,500 litres for 8 months
